The exhibition space is located at the old Cinema Augustus on Corso Vittorio in the centre of Rome. Through an exciting 'time machine', visitors will be able to go through the fundamental stages that have brought Rome to become the city we know today. There are spectacular video projections on the walls, ceiling and floor accompanied by a narrative voice. Discover the beautiful scale model reproductions of many of the city's famous sites, as well as holograms, projections and interactive exhibits that all tell the story of the important monuments throughout the Rome's incredible history. Audio-guides/narratives are available in eight languages (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese) and the enchanting projection, dedicated to the history of Rome, lasts 30 minutes. The experience is further enriched by four other exhibits that are dedicated to the construction of St. Peter's, the story of the Mausoleum of Hadrian (Castel Sant'Angelo), the construction of the Roman Imperial Forums and the description of the Forum of Augustus.
