Date(s): 30.11.15. Venue: Palalottomatica, Piazzale Pier Luigi Nervi 1, 00144 Rome, Italy.

Originally formed way back in 1976 in the small English town of Crawley, West Sussex, The Cure need no introduction to any music fan. Their expansive career has moulded them into one of the most successful and influential independent bands of all time. Their music and songs have spanned a whole range of genres, from their original post-punk and new wave roots (Three Imaginary Boys album), to the dark and tormented sound of Gothic rock (Seventeen Seconds album) and even venturing into the world of more commercial Pop music (Let's Go To Bed and Love Cats singles). This year, 2016, sees them embark on a North American and European tour, which thankfully also brings them to Rome on the 30th October at the Palalottomatica in the EUR district of the Italian capital. The Cure have not embarked on a European tour since 2008, so no doubt this well be one of this year's must-see shows. The audience can expect an enthralling concert with a mix of hits, rarities, favourites and unreleased songs. The live line-up is Robert Smith (voice/guitar), Simon Gallup (bass), Jason Cooper (drums), Roger O'Donnell (keyboards), Reeves Gabrels (guitar) and special guests are The Twilight Sad.
